I just wanted to say thank you so much for everyone who have seen and have read my blog posts. It means the world to me knowing people around the country are looking at my words.
I've noticed lately more things about myself that I've never seem to concentrate on before. I think about the way I react to things, or the way I listen to things. To think about ourselves in such a way makes people self conscience and awkward. But then when we are in a conversation with a friend it is so easy to know what they're about to say. You could think of this idea as knowing them more than you know yourself. Don't think of it that way though. It's easy to make assumptions about people without really knowing them like you may know yourself. We live in a society where we focus on what other people might be or what they might think instead of focusing on what is good for ourselves. They could be called "prude, innocent, slutty, whore.." and the list goes on. But do we really know them? I like to think we label people simply because it's in our nature to do so. Then again, I also see it as us seeing flaws in ourselves and finding the same ones in other people. So the first thing we do is judge them on it. Is it the right thing to do? Not necessarily. But do we do it? Yes. Even though I'm young, I'm starting to see who I truly am. I recently just saw something on the internet and it said, "Rumors and lies, they're just words." I agree with that quote, I just wish there was a part in it saying that some words are more than just words like love, hero, identity, and value. Words can do so much both positively and negatively, it's just how we use them is what matters. One thing that we should think about is finding ourselves before judging someone when they haven't figured out who they are.
