Review on Taylor Swift's New Album
Taylor Swift has done everything right with this new album. She tried something different with her music and it worked out perfectly. The new album 1989 is fun, upbeat, and is amazing for car jams! I bought it today and CAN NOT stop listening to it. To anyone who hasn't bought it yet, I highly recommend it!

Labels
What do these labels do to us? They separate us. This post is based off of a topic discussed in one of my classes recently. We all have those moments where we want to fit in or we want to be different, and there is nothing wrong with that. A thought I brought up was clothing and how that could make us judge people and categorize them. I like to look at the clothes we wear in a way to represent who we are. It is another form of art and expression. If we all wear uniforms, the only thing taken away from the judgement piece is our clothing. People will still curl there hair or straighten it and still wear make up. We will still envy people, but in a different way. Or judge people on who looks best in the uniform. That does not allow anyone to stand out or be different. Labels like short, tall, skinny, heavy are just another way to categorize us and separate us. It is typical for a person to say that what is on the inside counts the most, but it is the truth. There are a lot of really pretty people with personalities that makes them a lot less attractive. If you are confident then that will radiate and show. People will notice it and respect you. I can't say I am perfect though, I find myself judging people when I shouldn't. All labels do to us is take an identity away from the person, and now they are compared to someone else. We lose the most important thing each person should have, and that's our individuality. I don't want to lose mine. Do you?

Holiday Season

It's getting to be that time again where all the little kids go trick-or-treating, and the older kids go to parties. It's Halloween! This holiday has always been a favorite of mine, and not just the holiday but the season. It's fall and that means, leaves are changing, corn mazes, haunted hay rides, carving pumpkins, costume shopping, and the best of all Pumpkin Spice Lattes from Starbucks! Fall is the only time of the year where everything looks beautiful while it dies. Like leaves for an example. The colors turn from dark and light greens to bright reds, oranges, and yellows. This time of the year is the start for my favorite holidays. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Halloween has always been big in my family. Our front yard has plenty of decorations that will scream Halloween to anyone who sees it. Even though I have a brother and sister both in college, and I'm in High School, we still go trick-or-treating. My sister and I love to dress up, and we drag our brother along. It's the only time of the year where you get free candy, so I make a point of taking advantage of that.
Thanksgiving just happens to be on my birthday every 7 years. I love Thanksgiving dinner and desserts! Stuffing, chicken, potato, corn, beans, carrots, and bread. Then we have pumpkin pie, chocolate pie, chocolate chip cookies, and cranberry sauce.
Christmas and Christmas Eve makes me feel like I'm a little kid again in Disney. I get butterflies in my stomach, because I get so excited. Christmas Eve means we all get to go to Christmas Eve mass then go home and open one gift. On Christmas, us kids wake up at 3 am, watch Monster Inc. and wait till 5:30 to wake our parents up to open stockings. Then we have a small breakfast and open the gifts, and then we make a big breakfast.
Holiday season is the time of year to celebrate with family and friends!

Welcome to my blog Tall Skinny Blonde LatTEEN. My blog will show my inspirations, dreams, and ideas. (Plus some Starbucks appearances!)
To get started, I want you guys to know me. I'm tall, skinny, blonde, and I'm a teen. My hobbies are: drawing, reading, writing, traveling, drinking Starbucks, and playing with my adorable dog Gabriel. I absolutely love One Direction! I want to travel across the country to Italy, Spain, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, New Zealand, and Australia. My plan in life is to graduate college and come out in a History degree with a minor of Studio Arts. I want to live in Rhode Island near the water with a big Golden Retriever and a handsome husband. Waking up every day to a sunrise and walking on the beach with my dog sounds amazing to me. I want to live my life with all 4 seasons. Spring, with everything budding and all the flowers coming out. Summer, going to the beach and tanning. Fall, seeing all the leaves change. Winter, sitting by a fire with coco with family.
I do need to live near a Starbucks when I'm older, though. You never know who you might see..
